The Bruce Peninsula in Ontario has long been a place of respite for my family and me. It is a long spit of land that divides Georgian Bay from Lake Huron, and boasts a unique natural history, not to mention a special place in Native culture, and in the historical development of the shipping and lumber industries of our province. The trees represented in this gallery are common sights throughout the Peninsula, and all over Ontario too - and as such they have a special place in my heart. So far I have a growing list of 18 species to draw from.
