This small hanging was created for the "Out of the Past...Into the Future, New Works from Old Treasures" - an exhibition featuring works by invited artisans inspired by items from the collection of the Dundas Museum. Nov 2- 25, 2007 I chose a delightful little game called Perrywinkle, that I assume to be a precursor or imitation of our childhood Tiddlywinks. I liked the liveliness of the colours both in and out of the box, and the round discs echoed themes that I was already exploring in my new abstract work.
